Product Description
HSS Long Shank Counterbore Cutter CBLS is a high-speed steel (HSS) form milling cutter, made in Japan. Specifications range from screw sizes M3~M20 & W1/4"~W1/2", pilot diameter 3.2~21mm, flute length 7~26mm, effective length 3~21mm, overall length 120~200mm, 4 flutes. Maximum workpiece hardness up to HRC30. Suitable for: P (structural/carbon/alloy steel, <HRC30); N (non-ferrous, aluminum, copper, brass, plastic). Main application: counterboring (recessing screw heads flush). Tags: Long Shank End Mill. In the same EIKO family: the standard-length straight-shank CB (overall length 37~109mm) and the taper-shank CBT; CBLS extends the overall length to 120~200mm for counterbores that sit deep in the workpiece. Does it cover the same screw sizes as CB? Metric is the same M3~M20; Whitworth starts at W1/4" (CB starts at W1/8"). What is the largest screw size? M20 and W1/2".
