It handles carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and copper, with workpiece hardness up to HRC30. Typical applications: high-volume Whitworth tapping of nuts, sleeves and other internally threaded parts; finished nuts pass off over the shank, so the tap need not be reversed out for each piece. In the same H.T.D family: the short NT-S-SKS-W (8 sizes), the metric NT-L-SKS-M and the hand tap HT-SKS-W; NT-L-SKS-W covers thread dia 1/8~3/4 in 10 sizes. Long or short version?
