Product description
DHF Solid Carbide Micro Grain Ball Nose End Mill BTG, commonly called a ball nose cutter, forms and finishes 3D surfaces and radiused floors. Sister series include BTA (T1 coating), DB (rated to HRC50), BTB (T1 coating). What sets this one apart is an ultra-fine MG0.6 substrate with a G13 coating, rated to HRC55. It covers ball radius R 0.5~8mm, flute length 2~32mm, overall length 50~150mm, 2 flutes, in 23 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium and other superalloys, hardened and high-hardness mould steel. What is the smallest ball radius? R0.5mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Not recommended; choose a high-hardness series instead. Typical uses: 3D cavity finishing, radiused floors and corner clean-up, electrode and fixture contouring.
