Product description
DHF Solid Carbide Micro Grain Ball Nose End Mill DB, commonly called a ball nose cutter, forms and finishes 3D surfaces and radiused floors. Sister series include BTA (rated to HRC55), BTG (rated to HRC55), BTB (rated to HRC55). What sets this one apart is an ultra-fine PMG0.6 substrate with a T1 coating, rated to HRC50. It covers ball radius R 0.5~8mm, flute length 2~32mm, overall length 50~100mm, 2-4 flutes, in 23 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel. What is the smallest ball radius? R0.5mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Not recommended; choose a high-hardness series instead. Typical uses: 3D cavity finishing, radiused floors and corner clean-up, electrode and fixture contouring.
