DHF Solid Carbide Ball Nose End Mill for Aluminum Long Shank BTC, commonly called a ball nose cutter, forms and finishes 3D surfaces and radiused floors. It is built on an ultra-fine MG0.6 substrate, uncoated. It covers ball radius R 2~6mm, flute length 8~24mm, overall length 75~150mm, 2 flutes, in 12 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines aluminium, copper and other non-ferrous metals. What is the smallest ball radius? R2mm. Why the long shank? Only when the holder would foul a deep workpiece — otherwise a standard shank is stiffer. Typical uses: high-speed milling of aluminium parts, deep-cavity 3D cavity finishing, radiused floors and corner clean-up.
