DHF Solid Carbide Heavy Duty End Mill UPS, commonly called a flat or square end mill, shapes contours, side walls and slots. Sister series include ETH 4F (sizes 1~20mm), ETH 2F (2-flute), DE (rated to HRC50). What sets this one apart is a sub-micron SMG0.4 substrate with a G10 coating, rated to HRC60. It covers diameter 3~20mm, flute length 8~50mm, overall length 50~120mm, 4 flutes, in 18 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines stainless steel. What is the smallest diameter? 3mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Yes — that is exactly what it is for. Typical uses: general contouring and wall milling, slot and keyway cutting, roughing and semi-finishing of mould parts.
