DHF Solid Carbide High Hardness End Mill UVT, commonly called a flat or square end mill, shapes contours, side walls and slots. Sister series include UET (rated to HRC60), UEX (4-flute), VTA (sub-micron SMG0.4 substrate). What sets this one apart is a sub-micron SMG0.2 substrate with a G15 coating, rated to HRC65. It covers diameter 6~20mm, flute length 16~45mm, overall length 50~100mm, 6 flutes, in 10 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines cast iron, hardened and high-hardness mould steel. What is the smallest diameter? 6mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Yes — that is exactly what it is for. Typical uses: general contouring and wall milling, slot and keyway cutting, roughing and semi-finishing of mould parts.
