DHF Solid Carbide Unequal Flute Spacing & Variable Helix End Mill XEA, commonly called a flat or square end mill, shapes contours, side walls and slots. Sister series include KSE (rated to HRC60), UPZ (rated to HRC60), XEB (rated to HRC60). What sets this one apart is an ultra-fine MG0.6 substrate with a T2 coating, rated to HRC55. It covers diameter 3~20mm, flute length 6~40mm, overall length 50~100mm, 4 flutes, in 9 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines carbon and alloy steel. What is the smallest diameter? 3mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Not recommended; choose a high-hardness series instead. Typical uses: general contouring and wall milling, slot and keyway cutting, roughing and semi-finishing of mould parts.
