Sister series include KSE (G18 coating), UPZ (sizes 3~20mm), XEA (rated to HRC55). What sets this one apart is a sub-micron SMG0.4 substrate with a G10 coating, rated to HRC60. It covers diameter 3~20mm, flute length 8~40mm, overall length 50~100mm, 4 flutes, in 9 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel. What is the smallest diameter? 3mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Yes — that is exactly what it is for. Typical uses: general contouring and wall milling, slot and keyway cutting, roughing and semi-finishing of mould parts.
