Made of HSS-EX, the PS 5PSS is a French-brand pipe thread tap, ideal for PT/PF pipe threads, commonly used for sealing water, hydraulic and pneumatic line connections. Available in 8 sizes (thread dia 1~3, pitch 14~28, overall length 55~80mm, shank dia 8~18mm). A TiN coating adds a hard golden film for better wear and anti-galling, extending tool life. Suitable for machining carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals like aluminium and copper, workpiece hardness up to HRC40. French brand, consistent quality.
