A German-brand spiral flute tap built from HSS-E, the 15 5ED, ideal for tapping blind (non-through) holes — its spiral flutes pull chips back toward the shank, keeping the hole bottom clear. Available in 5 sizes (thread dia 5~12, pitch 0.8~1.75, thread length 12.5~30mm, overall length 70~110mm, shank dia 5.5~8.5mm). A TiN coating adds a hard golden film for better wear and anti-galling, extending tool life. Suitable for machining carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals like aluminium and copper, workpiece hardness up to HRC40. German brand, consistent quality.
