Product Description
NACHI 6422 AGRERS-R is the bull-nose version of the AG fine-pitch roughing end mill. The corner radius protects the cutting edge and leaves the fillet radius at the same time; use the flat-ended 6484 AGRERS when no radius is wanted. It is made from cobalt high speed steel (HSS-CO) with an AG (TiAlN-type) coating that resists heat and oxidation and allows dry or MQL cutting. Sizes cover diameter 6~25mm, corner radius 0.5~4mm, flute length 15~50mm, overall length 60~120mm, shank diameter 6~25mm, 4~5 flutes, 20 in total, made in Japan. For a given diameter the flute and overall lengths match 6484 exactly - only the end-face radius differs. It suits carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel with workpiece hardness up to HRC35. Typical uses: cavity roughing that must leave a corner radius, and hard materials where a sharp corner would chip. Can the corner radius be specified?
