AYCNAGOHHSS-CO Oil-Hole Drill 6558P GOHSold0pcsNACHI 6558P GOH is an oil-hole (through-coolant) drill with internal coolant passages. Coolant is delivered through the shank straight to the cutting edge, which is what makes deep-hole chip evacuation work; on machines without internal coolant use a conventional drill such as 6550P GLSD. It is made from cobalt high speed steel (HSS-CO) with NACHI's G coating, a TiN-based general-purpose layer with excellent adhesion to HSS. Sizes cover diameter 8~40mm, flute length 33~152mm, overall length 83~250mm, 65 in total, made in Japan. What does the machine need? A spindle or holder that supplies through-coolant, otherwise the oil holes cannot be used. It suits carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel with workpiece hardness up to HRC40. Typical uses: deep-hole drilling, continuous production drilling in steel, and blind holes where chips are hard to clear. There is no second oil-hole drill in this family; on machines without internal coolant use 6550P GLSD (diameter 1~13mm, overall length 100~300mm) or the taper-shank 650 LTD (diameter 7~50mm).
