HSS Center Drill Left Hand CDLR
OKABE CDLR is the left-hand centre drill for spindles running in reverse. Both the cutting edge and the helix are reversed; on a forward-running spindle use CD60 - the wrong hand will rub rather than cut.

Product Description
OKABE CDLR is the left-hand centre drill for spindles running in reverse. Both the cutting edge and the helix are reversed; on a forward-running spindle use CD60 - the wrong hand will rub rather than cut. It is made from plain high speed steel, uncoated. Sizes cover diameter 0.3~6mm, flute length 0.4~7.8mm, overall length 31~95mm, shank diameter 3~18mm, 22 in total, made in Japan. Where is it needed? Machines whose spindle only runs in reverse, or multi-spindle stations working alongside right-hand tools. Typical uses: spotting on reverse-running spindles, reversed stations on multi-spindle machines, and special fixture layouts. The family also includes the right-hand CD60 (also 60 degrees, diameter 0.3~12mm), the TiN coated CDTIN (0.3~6mm, the same size range as this one) and the 90 degree CD90 (diameter 0.3~10mm); the left-hand version is made in 60 degrees only, with no 90 degree or long-shank variant.
