OKABE CDLS60 is the long-shank version of the 60 degree centre drill. Overall length 100~250mm reaches over tall workpieces or into deep pockets; at ordinary heights the standard CD60 is far stiffer.

Product Description
OKABE CDLS60 is the long-shank version of the 60 degree centre drill. Overall length 100~250mm reaches over tall workpieces or into deep pockets; at ordinary heights the standard CD60 is far stiffer. It is made from plain high speed steel, uncoated. Sizes cover diameter 1~5mm, flute length 1.2~6.3mm, overall length 100~250mm, shank diameter 4~12mm, 37 in total, made in Japan. Why a long shank? On tall parts or with obstructing fixtures, the holder of a standard centre drill would foul the work. Typical uses: spotting on tall workpieces, pilot holes at the bottom of deep pockets, and jobs with fixture interference. The family also includes the standard-length CD60 (overall length 31~120mm, diameter 0.3~12mm) and the 90 degree long-shank CDLS90 (identical specification apart from the cone angle); the long-shank versions are made in 1~5mm diameter only.
