Sizes cover diameter 1~5mm, flute length 1.2~6.3mm, overall length 100~250mm, shank diameter 4~12mm, 37 in total, made in Japan. How do they differ? Only the cone angle - diameter, flute length, overall length and shank range are identical. Typical uses: spotting on tall parts before drilling, pilot holes in deep pockets, and long-reach location work on machining centres. The family also includes the 60 degree long-shank CDLS60 (identical specification apart from the cone angle) and the standard-length CD90 (overall length 31~100mm, diameter 0.3~10mm); the long-shank versions are made in 1~5mm diameter only.
