Product description
DHF Solid Carbide Long Shank Corner Radius End Mill LRTA, commonly called a bull nose or corner radius cutter, carries a corner radius so it can rough and clean floors in one tool. Sister series include LRTD (4-flute), DLRD (rated to HRC50), DLRA (rated to HRC50). What sets this one apart is an ultra-fine MG0.6 substrate with a G10 coating, rated to HRC55. It covers diameter 4~12mm, corner radius 0.2~2mm, flute length 11~30mm, overall length 75~100mm, 2 flutes, in 17 sizes, made in Taiwan. It machines carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel. What is the smallest diameter? 4mm. Can it cut hardened steel? Not recommended; choose a high-hardness series instead. Why the long shank? Only when the holder would foul a deep workpiece — otherwise a standard shank is stiffer. Typical uses: deep-cavity mould roughing, floor clean-up and wall profiling, continuous milling where edge life matters.
